The systemization of education takes the form of schooling which impress people that education is limited to a certain period of time span; yet, it disguises the true nature of education as a lifelong process.
Fundamentally, education won't stop only because one graduates from school. We're born to learn, that is instinct as natral as eat and sleep. The cases may be that we don't learn things being fully aware of it; sometimes we acquire certain skills, techniques or general ideas rather than learn them in classrooms.
Second, knowledge is guarantee for life. Ignorance is disasterous for modern life. The era we are living in is featured with information science; whether the speed or the scale is much further beyond an individual's capability. As the world is rolling on, we must keep up with it, for fear that we will be laid off as redundant to the beings.
Third, to balance the thoughts about who one is and what one thinks one should be. Current knowledge exploration focuses on the search into human nature scientifically. We're more likely to talk about the black hole, quantrum, neurons and genes than the empty dwelling on the soul. Though we cannot decide what really makes sense, we tend to dig into the likely meanings of existence.
Fourth, increasing demand on the quality of education renders school education only preparation for a lifelong self-education. Einstein once said that school education is just the things one can remember after graduation. So the things mentioned here are methods of approaching personal ideas and the practical ability to solve problems.
To alter education into a lifelong process request us to be tutors of ourselves and perseverance and intelligence are involved. It is a challenge and adventure.
