The old saying "It is never too old to learn" reveals an important fact that education is a life-long process. The process of learning doesn't stop because of our graduation from university.
First, the gap between the knowledge we learn in schools and that we need in our practical work decides that we should receive education through our lives. As we all know, our majar in college doesn't always accord with our jobs. An English major may take the job as a bank clerk. It is said that it can be called very satisfactory if we can put half of our knowledge into our work after graduation. How can we compete with our experrenced collegues? Don't complain the jobs or the education we have received in the past. The only way out is to learn according to the requirements of the jobs we are engaged in. that is just the reason why there are special traning for us before we start our work in a new company.
Secondly, the changing system and content of knowledge also deserve our continuous education. If we don't adapt ourselves to it, we will find ourselves out of date and even lose ourselves. The world sees enormous changes as every day changes. The requirements of our work change, so we have to learn further or we may be fired sooner or later. Even for our daily life, education is also needed. If we reject it, we may find that you even don't know how to open our door against theft or how to cook with a microwave. That is a tragedy, isn't it? It is necessary for us to keep our old knowledge, but what is more important is that we absorb new information as much as possible.
In a word, education is a life-long process. If we stick to it, we will surely succeed in both of our work and our daily life. It's the talisman against being rejected by the world.
