Building a complete self is a life long process if developing one's mind through education. Usually, when we are very young, we are restricted in a certain horizon, ignoring the colorful world outside. Luckily, years of learning, reading, thinking as well as absorbing experience from the past bring us a complete sense of value. Thus we clearly redefine our own position, our community, our contribution to the world. It's education that elevates us from the ignorant child to a real adult.
Education also provides us opportunity to adapt to the society. The society is upgoing day and night. Therefore, the book knowledge we have learned in classroom is far from enough. It is said that when one enters his career, only 1/3 of what he have learned can be applied to the current society, while the rest is a little bit out of date. So one should catch up with the tide of the society, grasping every chance to enrich himself with professional knowledge as well as other relevant informations. Moreover, the society, actually, is the best classroom for everyone. Only in the live classroom can one fully grasp how to apply the book knowledge to the real world. Meanwhile, we gradually know the proper skills of communicating with others, delivering one's oppinons, and other human-related skills.
Graduation from university is not the end of education, but the first step in one's life long education. As Newton always described himself as a naive child, learning from the forebearing with attentive heart. An attentive heart, a ready mind will contribute to our relization of ourselves for we have set up a complete self and adopt ourselves to the society in the education throughout our life.
