Why do we send young kids to school, making some of them tortured and complaining sadly? Maybe it is good for them to hunt good jobs in the future or get prepared for all aspects of life? In my opinion, the function of education is beyond a means of earning a living.
Some people think education is merely the defination of going to school or college. Is that true? Of course not. We have lots of ways to get educated, such as self teaching, using transporting tools and communicating with others. Even living it self is a way of learning, during which you learn how to arrange your time, handle incidents and the art of living.
The reason some people consider education simply as going to school perhaps is they, regard it as a means of job hunting. On the one hand, we have to admit one function of education surely is for hunting good jobs. The more educated, the more opportunities lie in front of you. On the other hand, human do not live to eat but eat to live. We can not be taken the nose only by physical demands. Still we have to enjoy ourselves, and fulfill our goals. When you learn something without a much too dear aim, you will get it light heartedly and keep it in mind groundly. You may learn it in a more charming atmosphere, that is to say, you gain something while enjoying yourself. That is more efficient and long lasting.
The most essential function, I guess, lies in helping you know mow about yourself, developing your potential and adjusting in time. There are many unknown districts in a person to be ploughed. Through education you many touch them by chance and be aware for the first time what you are good at. Then you will do it more aimly and guidedly. Be familiar with yourself, which is the most valuable.
As the above, education goes along with your lifetime, known or unknown. Don't resist it, or else you may lose precious chances.
