I think education is very important to everyone the whole life. First, through education , people can master many kinds of skills, such as reading, speaking, writing, thinking, working, communicating and so on. No doubt, these skills will help a person secure more than one good jobs. But, in my opinion, these skills are not the only aim of education.
Education is a lifelong process. It can give people another kind of knowledge, which is different from those skills mentioned above. This kind of knowledge can make people bright and become mature. It tells people how to see the world, how to deal with all kinds of matters. And it let people know very cleary they should be reponsible for something in their lifetime, and then people will gradually understand the sense of life, people need something to guide them, and nonstopped education can do it.
Education can be done in many ways, and maybe you can understand something by sheer chance. Going to schools and colleges in only a kind of means. Securing a good job is only part of education aim. If a person can't know the world more clearly, can't get anything except how to make a living, education for him is a failure. If a person only muster many skills with an evil heart, education for him is a disaster.
Education is a life long process. Perhaps many things can't be understood until a person has been old man. People need enough time to become mature. So education can't be finished when people leave school. It should be continued.
As a freshman, I can't say how much I know about education. There are still many things for me to learn. But I'm sure education is very important.
