In fact, at the begining of my university study, I got very pleased and releaved. As many other people expected, I thought I could get rid of the burden of education C boring books, homework and tests. Though we still had them, I could avoid them more easily until final examinations.
Since very young, I was told to study hard to seize the opportunity of university education. Now, the dream had come true. I began to wander amlessly. I had expected life would become more interesting without the boring education. However, life was pale, like flowers without water. I came to realize that education was a lifelong process.
Let's see such a question: can we measure how large the room is out of a circle? At least, I say no. Someone said knowledge was a circle, in which was what you had already known and out of which was what you didn't know. So when you get more and more knowledge, the circle is becoming larger and larger, but meanwhile, you will realize more and more what you don't know. As an unlimited thing, education is obviously worth all your lifetime.
As modern people, most of us like fashion. Few people are content with things out of date. Many people even frequently hunt for latest and paticular clothes, hats, shoes, bags and so on. So why not include your own knowledge? When the brain becomes old-fashioned, the modern appearance will just be a mummy. As we all know, the world is changing. The speed of the replacement of knowledge can be out of our expectation. It is said that when a university student leaves school, his or her knowledge is already useless. Maybe it's an exageration, but we can still feel the high-speed of knowlege development.
Then I myself welcome education very much again. I find my former concept education is, in fact, too limiled. Education is never equal to boring textbooks, homework and tests. As a university student, we can choose what we want to learn more freely. I consider the ability of choosing something or making decisions even more important, since during the process, we should learn to study ourselves, which will costs our whole life. And sometimes, I found no topic to discuss with my friends, so I devoted myself to those latest newspaper, magazines and books. I call them micro-education, which helps me decorate my daily life. And society is also a book that needs my whole life to finish.
