Nowadays the importance of education and the great role it plays in our life have been quite clearly realized and accepted by us, but have we thought deeply about why we receive education? Just for seeking for a good job to lead a comfortable life? Definitely not. Education, in essence, should be a life long career to take.
As is known to all, the sea of knowledge is endless, which requires that our sailing over it will also be endless, especially in today's society in which knowledge is developing and boardening every day, so even if your accepted some kinds of education to gain some knowledge you still have new challenges every day. Take my parents for example. They both have finished their high school and college studying, but that doesn't mean the process of their education goes to an end, for as time flies the requirement of knowledge also extends to a much vaster range. They need to learn how to use computers, speak English and to receive some other kinds of training or education to match the development of knowledge and the society. Therefore if you want to be more capable and competitive in this society, you should be always learning new knowledge in other words, to receive education, otherwise, maybe one morning when you wake up you'll find yourself and what you know have been all out of date!
Some people doubt the possibility of receiving education as a lifelong process because in their opinion learning is only suitable and easy for youth, but see this saying: "Never too old to learn." There isn't a distinction of people who can receive education. A 5-year-old kid has the same probability to learn well as are who's 50 years old. Education is for all who has the desire to learn.
Take your actions now and make it lifelong.
