There's an old saying, "It's never too old to learn". And actually, everybody has always been learning during their life since they were born. When they are little babies, they learn to eat, smile, speak and walk. And then they go to school to learn mathematics, chemistry, physics, etc. But at that time, I think they are just learning what was written in the books, not in real life. However, when they grow up and get jobs, they begin to learn how to live better, including making friends, preventing themselves from being cheated, making more money, setting up harmonious families, being good parents and so on. They will learn those things from life, not any more books. So life is always a good teacher and every one can learn a lot from life. Since life is rather hard for a middle-aged adult especially when he/she has to take care of both old parents and young children, education is actually very important for him/her because good education can ensure good jobs and good mood in the face of difficulty and frustration.
