I understand "Practice makes perfect" to be the more you try something or practice something the better you will be at it. In learning English practice is very important. This applies to both spoken English and written English. The more you practice speaking words the better you will be at pronouncing them. Also the more you write and read English the better you will be at it. By practicing the way you write, read, and speak English the better you will get. "Practice makes perfect" also applies to many other aspects of life. Some examples of these are sports, drawing, driving, singing, dancing, and teaching. I believe the more you practice anything the better off you will become. The more you practice the closer to perfect you become.
