<Nationality>USA</Nationality>Each stage of life, from childhood to old age, has its advantages and disadvantages. The innocence of childhood is remarkable. This is the only time when a person is pure and untouched by society. The burdens and worries of life have yet to be realized, and life can simply be enjoyed. However, this is also a time when dependence is necessary; one's ability to do anything depends on others.
The next stage is youth; this stage encompasses the mid-teens to late adulthood. It starts being relatively carefree, but still dependant, to finding oneself completely independent and full of worries. Though there are more burdens in this period there is also a greater joy that comes from knowing oneself. The latter part of this stage is when most people say they are truly enjoying life.
Old age is the final stage of life. Here dependence is again somewhat necessary and burdens may have been taken over by someone else. In this stage many people reflect on what they have done and pass along their memories and wisdom to loved ones. People tend to enjoy life at a slower pace and focus on the quality of their life. All stages of life are wonderful and at times difficult; each stage should be enjoyed in the best way possible.
