It consists of accessible and practical English texts sourced from websites based in English-speaking countries.

CROWN2021 is a one-million-word corpus of American English, balanced in the manner of the Brown family of corpora. The CROWN2021_POS folder contains part-of-speech-annotated texts tagged with the CLAWS C5 tagset. All of the texts were published in 2021.
