CORPUS LINGUISTICS RESEARCH

KOREAN ASSOCIATION FOR CORPUS LINGUISTICS (KACL)

Corpus Linguistics Research is an international journal annually published in September by the Korean Association for Corpus Linguistics, South Korea. It is an open access and triple blind peer-reviewed international journal, which is devoted to general and specialized corpus linguistics research and its application studies. We are pleased to consider manuscripts for publication, providing that the manuscript has not been published elsewhere. Manuscripts in .doc format should be submitted either through the online submission system athttp://www.kacl.or.kror through email atkaclgeneral@gmail.com. All inquiries concerning business matters including submission and subscription should be e-mailed tokaclgeneral@gmail.com.

Length and Presentation. Economy of expression is essential. Long papers, i.e., research papers reporting on completed corpus-based research, should be 6,000 to 10,000 words in length (that includes references and Appendices). The number of figures and tables should be carefully considered. Short papers, i.e., research papers reporting on corpus construction, the development and application of an annotation scheme, the development of automated annotation systems, etc., should be 2,500 to 4,000 words in length. All submissions should include an English abstract 150~200 words long and 5 keywords. Please submit your paper in Times New Roman type (or similar), at twelve points. All section headings should be in boldface and numbered (please avoid automatic formatting features in your word processing package).

Footnotes and References. Provide footnotes rather than endnotes. Keep your footnotes short and relevant, and include web addresses in footnotes wherever possible. References should be put at the end of the article. Please write your references following the APA Style. Specific guidelines can be found from Purdue Online Writing Lab athttps://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/section/2/10/.
