2023年暑期，北京外国语大学中国外语与教育研究中心与北京外研在线数字科技有限公司联合举办“首届大语言模型辅助外语教学与研究设计大赛”。本次赛事旨在探索“人机协同”外语教育新模式，提倡利用大语言模型技术进行教学与研究创新。比赛面向全国高校教师与研究生开放，大赛分为“外语教学设计”与“外语研究设计”两个类别。本次赛事共吸引全国158所院校的245位教师和团队参与。经过匿名专家评审，最终在“外语教学设计”和“外语研究设计”两大类别中，各评出6份优秀作品。本次大赛有效推动了“人机协同”外语教学与研究新范式的探索。

In the summer of 2023, the National Research Centre for Foreign Language Education at Beijing Foreign Studies University, in conjunction with Beijing Waiyan Online Digital Technology Co., Ltd., hosted the inaugural "Large Language Model Assisted Foreign Language Teaching and Research Design Challenge." This event aimed to explore new "human-computer collaboration" models in foreign language education and advocate for the innovative use of large language model technology in teaching and research. The competition was open to university teachers and graduate students nationwide and featured two categories: "Foreign Language Teaching Design" and "Foreign Language Research Design." The competition attracted participation from 245 teachers and teams from 158 institutions across the country. After anonymous expert evaluations, six outstanding works were selected in each of the two categories, "Foreign Language Teaching Design" and "Foreign Language Research Design." This competition effectively promoted the exploration of new paradigms in "human-computer collaborative" foreign language teaching and research.
